Librarian by disposition and lifelong autodidact by necessity.
I am presently engaged in the study of Photography, Fine Arts, Classics, Language, and Creative Writing. I love all ancient languages, esoteric mythologies, religious syncretism, and forgotten histories. I’m especially drawn to the enigmatic—the partially deciphered, the spiritually liminal, and the culturally buried.
As a neurodivergent individual navigating autism, ADHD, and chronic illness, my reviews often evolve in layers. My reflections aren’t always linear or immediate, and I frequently revise or expand reviews. I often integrate music and lyrics into my analysis.
I read extensively and eclectically: queer literature, MM and FF romance, speculative fiction, classic sci-fi and fantasy (particularly works featuring Aliens—Xenomorphs, expanded universes, comics, novelizations). I’m passionate about narratives by women, BIPOC, and other marginalized voices—especially those centered on identity, struggle, and transformation. I also devour nonfiction across disciplines: emotional psychology, plant lore, survivalism, fashion history, neurobiology, and the structure of belief systems. I hold particular reverence for historical fiction, especially prehistory.
Though I may lapse into quietude due to fatigue or executive dysfunction, I’m deeply interactive when present. I delight in meaningful engagement and literary exchange. Please follow and interact before sending a friend request—I value intentional connection over algorithms.
