Really anything by Maria V. Snyder is good for that age group and style of reading. Also, the Infernal Devices series is good and also the Mortal Instruments. Those were all series but some good single books are Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon, Not If I See You First by Eric Lindstrom and heaps more but that's probably enough.
