And I don't mind romance at all! Love it in fact if mashed together perfectly. In small doses or as a prominent part of the story. Can be adult/NA/YA.
What I'm essentially also looking for is something like Jaqueline Carey's Phedre's trilogy and Naamah's trilogy, or something like my recent love the Shades of Magic series by V.E. Schwab. I love fantasy romances like these where sex is not shamed and love is LOVE. Mixed in with complex characters, buckets of adventures with witty banter and romance - it's a guaranteed good time for me :D...more
