My fiance introduced me to Xanth. And to the Forgotten Realms and Drizzt and to Dragonlance and The Companions. And he has regretted it ever since! Foolish man! If I find an author I like, I will read every book available by them that I can get my hands on. I am 41 and spend a lot of time reading due to a back injury. I have two cats ( Malbolgia and D'Ohgee), two tarantulas ( Psyche and Nix), an English Budgie ( Icarus), a bearded Dragon( Thanatos), and a fiance named Todd. I love Horror books and movies and have met Anne Rice, Sid Haig, and Kane Hodder. I like Computer games like DragonAge, Warcraft, and D & D online. I do not play Left for Dead as I have a problem with shooting anything that moves such as my teammates. These are more things my fiance introduced me to. The majority of books on my have read list have no dates added. I just started at goodreads and I am listing everything I have read. I had not previously paid attention to any dates. Now I can tell you I read The Stand and several other of King's books in high school. Narnia was in 5th or 6th grade. Dragonlance and The Realms are all within the last 8 years. But who cares? All that matters is that I read them. ...more
