I read this book a few years ago but since the 2016 presidential election everything I have heard about Donald Trump puts me in mind of Charlie Croker. Was Trump Wolfe's model for this character? What do other readers think?

I looked him up, and indeed, among other things, he became a developer and founded his own firm.
