How do you get inspired to write?

Roger Gloss My love of literature and my desire to write fiction go all the way back to high school. For sophomore English I had a great teacher who challenged, inspired, and encouraged all of us to explore literature and to express ourselves through writing. In my professional career in information technology, I seized opportunities to write, but this was mostly dry, unimaginative technical writing. I feared I might have lost any talent to write creatively but, once I reached my 60s, I decided to take a whack at it. That was one of the most rewarding decisions I ever made.
