Hey Miranda! I was wondering if any of your books leading men is based on your husband? Or at least the way you met. I am always curious whatever authors use real life experience in their writing.

Miranda Kenneally Hi Dani - I wouldn't say any of my guy characters are based on my husband, but I will say he is totally obsessed with sports. He ran cross country in college and now he bikes. Every day of the week he watches hockey, football, baseball, soccer, or some other sport on TV, and he spends a lot of time reading sports websites and sports news. My husband sometimes helps me with the sports details in my books. Of all my characters, he's probably most like Will Whitfield (Corndog): he is very nice, smart, athletic, but sometimes does really silly things that may or may not annoy me.

And we met in a bar, so not so much like how my YA characters met!
