Finance:
The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas J. Stanley (who studied and interviewed actual millionaires to write the book).
The Richest Man in Babylon (which gives similar advice to what the actual millionaires did, without the scientific research).
Psychology/Business:
Give and Take by Adam Grant
The Art of the Start by Guy Kawasaki
There's a few others, but start with these. Burn Rich Dad. Why? See here: http://johntreed.com/blogs/john-t-ree...

If you are a novice I recommend reading this first. The diagrams and conversational style make it very easy to digest and internalise.
Most people that complain about this book either already do some investing/business or have read significantly around the area and already understand the foundational concepts.
Plus, it's only a short book so you it's not like you are investing large swathes of your time to read it.

This is a great book for novices. It changes the way you view assets and liabilities. If you can understand that basic fact, you can move forward. I really liked this book - i've read it twice and will read it again soon.

This book is utterly useless for sound steps/action points towards making money/investing. Try The Barefoot Investor by Scott Pape. Excellent, simple read which sound advice.

This book is good read to get notes that will help to find asset and liabilities in our life. It also help to shift thought process about expense and investment priorities. For step by step guide I found book named "I Will Teach You To Be Rich" by Ramit Sethi more helpful. It will make more sense to read it after reading this book.

It depends on what you gleaned from the book, to be quite honest. What do you want to invest in? Real estate? Stocks? Use the book as a very rudimentary framework of thinking about building wealth and then research your interests. I think anyone upset about the book's lack of substantive actionables should read something else.

I have access to materials that elaborate on applying its principles. Find me here on facebook for more info Username mario.pascal.1
There are also way you can also be paid while you teach this as well.

Intelligent Investor by Ben Graham, but it’s heavy.

Some of the best books recommended to me in this area are the ones by MJ DeMarco:
The Millionaire Fastlane - start with this one
Unscripted - Elaborate framework to follow, builds on concepts in first book

You should read rich dad to get into the proper frame of mind then figure out what you are going to do to change your life. The mind set is more important than the action you persue!
I recommend you get over to biggerpockets.com and start reading about Real Estate investment. Lots of free material and the books are pretty cheap too. Many available on audible. Start with this page: https://www.biggerpockets.com/guides
Good Luck on your journey!

This is a great book (and one of my favourites) in terms of introducing a new - and better - way to thinking about money and how to make it work for you rather than the other way round. It IS conceptual in many ways, so you'll need to look elsewhere for specific, step by step applications.
If it's actual money management (ie making the best use of what you have and ensuring you're moving forward) try my own book "MONEY:Yours, Mine or Ours" (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...) which deals with that in specific and detailed steps and actually comes with pre-programmed spreadsheets to fill in as you go. I realize it may seem like a shameless plug, but after over 20 years of helping people on an entirely pro bono basis to sort their finances into a position where they have control so they get rid of the stress and even look at investing, I have seen first hand how much difference it can make.
That said, in terms of investing and moving forward on a larger scale, I'd also recommend "The Richest Man in Babylon", "The Millionaire Next Door" and "Think and Grow Rich". The fact that the first and last ones were written in 1926 and 1937 respectively and are STILL recommended today shows how timeless the best approaches to investing and using money are, even though the tools we now use are completely different (plastic, online, cryptocurrency etc). Hope that helps!

Certainly, this book is not perfect. But, Rich Dad Poor Dad is one of the good books on personal finance. This book is neither a To-Do list nor it provides detailed strategies to make money. Instead, this book inspires and motivates us to reprogram our minds and finances to escape from the Rat Race of “Get up, Go for Job and Pay Bill.”
Robert Kiyosaki is not against having a job. But, he is certainly against the Rat Race. At one point in this book, he even suggests keeping day time job and minding your own business. It means to earn money through a job, set aside a sizeable portion of your earnings before spending a single penny and invest your savings in passive income producing assets.
