So many complaints about how this book doesn't give step by step, however, no one names any. Could someone name some concrete financial books with steps or action points? I'm definitely a novice in this area.

It IS conceptual in many ways, so you'll need to look elsewhere for specific, step by step applications.

If it's actual money management (ie making the best use of what you have and ensuring you're moving forward) try my own book "MONEY:Yours, Mine or Ours" (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...) which deals with that in specific and detailed steps and actually comes with pre-programmed spreadsheets to fill in as you go. I realize it may seem like a shameless plug, but after over 20 years of helping people on an entirely pro bono basis to sort their finances into a position where they have control so they get rid of the stress and even look at investing, I have seen first hand how much difference it can make.

That said, in terms of investing and moving forward on a larger scale, I'd also recommend "The Richest Man in Babylon", "The Millionaire Next Door" and "Think and Grow Rich". The fact that the first and last ones were written in 1926 and 1937 respectively and are STILL recommended today shows how timeless the best approaches to investing and using money are, even though the tools we now use are completely different (plastic, online, cryptocurrency etc). Hope that helps!(less)
