Dukes are my favorites in books. You seem to favor them, too. Why is that?

Eloisa James For me, a duke is short-hand for 2 things: power and money. I grew up the daughter of a poet, on a farm in Minnesota, so I am extremely uninterested in lack of money. This is, after all, my fantasy as well! I have written about heroes who are very rich but not titled--also fun--but in the end, a duke works because he comes with the title and a lot of land and responsibilities, all set up.
