Hi Maggie, I'm so glad you've enjoyed my books! As for your question, after I wrote I Heart You, You Haunt Me, a lot of people wanted a sequel, but my editor felt like we left Ava in a good, hopeful place. He suggested I write another book about love and loss, healing and hope and have Ava make a short but sweet appearance, so readers could see how she was doing that way. So I thought about what I might do differently in another book and decided to show how two people might come together and help each other with their grief. That's how it started, basically. :) Thanks again!
