This question contains spoilers… (view spoiler)

Miranda Kenneally All of my books have a little bit of "me" in them. For instance, like Parker in Stealing Parker, I had a hard time dealing with my parents' divorce. Like Jordan in Catching Jordan, I was better at making friends with boys than girls in high school. Like Annie in Breathe, Annie, Breathe, I trained for and ran a marathon. Like Savannah in Racing Savannah, I grew up with very little money, but worked hard to move beyond my circumstances. Like Maya in Jesse's Girl, I love music and was in my school's choir. And for career day I said I wanted to be a country music star, and my school sent me to Nashville. :) Things I Can't Forget is probably the most personal book I've written. In high school, I had a friend who got pregnant. Unlike Kate, I did not help my friend, and I've always regretted that. At the time, I worried that my church, my parents, and my friends would get mad at me for helping my friend. I should have made my own decision to help.

Thanks for your question, Chanel!
