How did you get started writing? Did you always know you wanted to be a writer?

Miranda Kenneally I started writing as a little kid and always loved it. I wrote terrible stories about families with 5 sets of twins and 2 of triplets and 20 dogs. In high school I wrote a lot of bad poetry about guys I was in love with. By college I was writing short stories and trying my hand at sci-fi, but it wasn't until I tried writing contemporary YA in my twenties that I found my niche. Thanks for your question!
