Huntley? I just read your bio and was surprised to know you have 6 kids.I suppose you would have the people's criticism like Mrs Garrent too.Well author ! One of the reasons I loved your book(TBND) is that I could totally relate.......I have 8 siblings and i felt as you have written the book just for me....Carry on with the writing and ignoring the taunts....I Love my family and I wouldn't have them in any lesser way.

Hi SJ--
8 siblings! You sure do know what I'm talking about then. And yes, everything that gets said to Mrs. Garrett has been said to me (about a hundred times apiece). But I always wanted a big family--from childhood--and it has turned out to be even more wonderful (ok, and chaotic) than I ever imagined. I can't imagine any fewer (indeed, I would have had more, but...) Thanks so much for writing! oxoxo Huntley

I hope you don't mind me asking but I'm an aspiring writer wondering what other writers do. I sent out several copies of my manuscript and have gotten them back. In some areas they recommended specific changes with exact sentences they recommend. In some of the examples, I really like their ideas to mine but feel like I would be stealing their ideas if I use them. What do you do in similar situations? Thank you!

Hi Huntley! I know you get asked a lot if you have considered writing Sam and Jase a sequel, but have you ever thought about writing Jase's parents a story? Kinda like a prequel? They both are really intriguing (you create such great characters!) and I can picture a great story line-especially with Jack's drinking problem.

One of the things I absolutely love about your books is how all of your characters are so different! They all have their unique personalities, which makes them so realistic. And I don't think many authors can do that. So how did you come up with these characters and their personality traits? Are they based on people you knew? Or how did you come up with them?
