How do you get inspired to write?

Julie A. Cameron Usually, I'm inspired when my characters start talking to me like they are real people (that sounds a lot scarier than I meant for it to). I get very excited when one of my characters starts letting me know who they really are, and then I can't wait to hit my keyboard. I'm also inspired every time I have a working session with my writing coach, Doug Kurtz (Write Life Coaching) - he asks all the right questions, and points me in all the right directions to really get the creativity flowing.
