Julie A. Cameron Wow, that's tough, because there are so many great fictional couples out there, it's hard to narrow it down to one. As much as I am leaning toward saying, "Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy," I find that my real answer is probably, "Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser," because I love that I am able to continue with them as a couple, even after the "I do" part of the story.

Most romances give you your Happily Ever After, and you are content to remember them with bliss and harmony. But with Claire and Jamie, you get to see them continue along on their journey, and grow older together -- their struggles as well as their successes.

Well, that and Jamie is just plain hot no matter how you slice it, and Claire is a lucky, lucky woman!
Julie A. Cameron Usually, I'm inspired when my characters start talking to me like they are real people (that sounds a lot scarier than I meant for it to). I get very excited when one of my characters starts letting me know who they really are, and then I can't wait to hit my keyboard. I'm also inspired every time I have a working session with my writing coach, Doug Kurtz (Write Life Coaching) - he asks all the right questions, and points me in all the right directions to really get the creativity flowing.
Julie A. Cameron Oh, where do I start??? There are so many great things: the other writers I've met in groups/organizations/communities, the fun of working through a plot and knowing you can make happen whatever you want, the getting completely lost in your own story with your own characters... The list goes on, and on.
Julie A. Cameron Knock wood, I haven't really had to deal with writer's block yet -- I have so many ideas wandering around in my head, I just keep writing them down for later. However, I have had to work with "real life" getting in my way, and the way I deal with that is to try to get everything done so that I can focus on writing (not an easy task!). It's important, I believe, to make sure to carve out a set time to dedicate -- and truly dedicate it -- to writing. My dedicated writing day is Mondays!
Julie A. Cameron I have a mousepad that says, "write the book you want to read." That would be my big advice. Well, that, and hire a great writing coach (mine is Doug Kurtz, who's amazing!), and if you plan to self-publish, you had better be talking to BookFuel.
Julie A. Cameron I'm currently working on the next book in the Four Seasons series. This one will be focused on Harry, George's flirtatious younger brother. My goal is to get this one out in Spring, 2016.
Julie A. Cameron Believe it or not, "Christmas Spirit" started off as a screenplay. My manager said, "Everyone wants a Christmas script. Can you do a Christmas script?" To which I responded, "But I don't even like Christmas." Next thing I knew, I had written a Christmas screenplay, using some of my own family traditions, and I loved the storyline so much, I decided to turn it into a novel in order to keep the story rights.
