can someone tell me why he did not get caught? and what happened when he comes to Paul Allen's house and discovers it is sold? the woman selling the flat tells him to go away and never come back. Who helped Bateman out? Who covered his murders and how? Why his lawyer in the end tells him "i had dinner with Paul Allen in London 10 days ago"?

It's part of the point that Bateman is making about American greed-showing that the wealthy and powerful can do as they like with no consequence. As for the lawyer having dinner with Paul Owen-he didn't. He had dinner with someone who is of so little consequence to him he can't even remember his name. The lawyer and all the wall street brokers are the same way, they never get anyone's name right because they are such greedy narcissist no one else matters. (less)
