Hi Amelia,
Thank you so much for reading those books - I'm so glad you enjoyed them. I loved to bake when I was your age (and still do, actually) and I thought it would be fun to set a story in or around a cupcake shop. The first book was going to be just one book, but then I proposed a sequel, and my editor thought a companion novel with Sophie as the main character might be better, so that's what we ended up doing. After we did two, I thought, one more would be fun, with a character who isn't a good baker, as sort of a contrast to the other characters. I love Isabel, Lily and Sophie, and I'm so glad readers have liked their stories!
I have another series out now featuring a friendship between four girls who meet at summer camp and think they've found a lucky bracelet, that they pass back and forth to each other in the mail when they get home. That series is called CHARMED LIFE. And if you like Paris, a new book came out in February called MY SECRET LIFE TO PARIS, that kids seem to be enjoying.
