I've been reading chapter books since I was six, but didn't discover romance until I found the right anti-depressant. That let me believe there could be a Happy Today, which led me to reading books with a Happily Ever After. I learned my craft, writing regular romance, until I read Kate Douglas' excellent "Wolf Tales" series. I decided on cowboys so wrote "Cowboy Sandwich", which won first place in the RWA's Passionate Ink chapter contest the year it was published.
