Which do you find easier to write, fiction or non-fiction?

Melinda Clayton In many ways I find non-fiction easier to write. In the past, I've had to do quite a bit of academic/professional-type writing, which is really pretty clear cut. You outline the facts and fill in the support of those facts. Fiction is much harder, to me, because you're creating not only a world, but the individuals within that world. So fiction is harder, but it's also a lot more fun.
