Melinda Clayton has published over twenty articles and short stories in various print and online newspapers and magazines. She is the author of the Cedar Hollow Series, which includes Appalachian Justice, Return to Crutcher Mountain, Entangled Thorns, and Shadow Days.

Clayton's second series is the Tennessee Delta Series, which includes novels Blessed Are the Wholly Broken, and A Woman Misunderstood. The third in the series, Child of Sorrow is scheduled for publication in the spring of 2018.

She also authored Making Amends, a dark novel of tragedy and suspense.

Clayton has an Ed.D. in Special Education Administration, is a licensed psychotherapist in the states of Florida and Colorado (on retired status), and is a writing tutor for Pearson

Can it really be four years since I've updated this blog? Where does the time go?

Wait ... I can answer that. It goes to teaching, raising kids, and finishing the next book during the few scraps of time I could find in-between.

Well, the kids have been raised. One just graduated from college, and the other is about to start his junior year (remotely, of course).
