Have I already thanked you? Thanks for the rec of Island of Siliang. Pure fun, lovely to look at. Researching Siliang led me to The Untamed. Watching it, I kept thinking of you. It's a complexly plotted fantasy, features two compelling male leads, has scary themes with heroes who are truly good, and is romantically absolutely swoony. If you internet search "Vox review The Untamed" you might enjoy the review.

Island of Siliang is very fine, but The Untamed is what put me at the top of the slippery slope of modern Asian media, about 3 years ago, and shoved.

I stealth-reviewed it on GR through the translation of the parent novel a while back...

I can't really rec the books -- I suspect translation issues -- but they were a useful supplement to the TV show.

LOL, thanks. Not really rhetorical. Real science - not too many aliens, time travel, far off worlds and stuff in real science. I've read tons of yours, and Fantasy too. Currently working my way through some mysteries that were recommended to me. Old and tired might be nearer the mark, I was thinking of those writers more. That's the problem with getting old, so does everyone else.?

In the Vorkosigan Saga, I always picture Impsec headquarters as looking a bit like the nihilistic Ohio Historical Society in Columbus. A) Are you familiar with this building? B) If so, am getting it right?
