Lois McMaster Bujold:
If I did the math correctly, Penric would be in his seventies when the Golden General starts his rise. I was wondering how those events might impact him and Desdemona? I'm guessing they'd be geographically far enough away to be unaffected by the politics (and war), but the propagation of demons that happened during that time frame could have further implications for the Bastard's divines.

All good speculations!
I have not, at the moment, made any decisions about where Pen & Des are going long term, or even next, except I suppose that they will go together.
I'm not even sure "till death do you part" applies, at least from Des's viewpoints.

When I read my friend's blog about her newfound passion for all things Bujold, I was very surprised to learn that she doesn't love Cordelia (though her reason makes sense cf http://www.alicebulmer.com/me-and-lois-mcmaster-bujold/) Everyone else I've ever talked with about Cordelia adores her, but now I wonder whether you have come across anyone else not so keen on Cordelia?

Hello, Lois! First of all I want to thank you very much for the Vorkosigan Saga. I read it first more than 20 years ago, in Russian. I just swallowed it overnight and hunted down all published books written by you. Right now I am reading Miles's story for the fourth time and can't sleep if not finish it overnight ))) My question: do you ever feel scared or stumbled when starting a new story? How do you manage?

I have a vague memory a comment you made several years ago when someone asked about another Vorkosigan book that you had started writing about finding butter bugs in the radiation zone, but that was as far as the idea had gone. Is Flowers the end result of that idea? BTW, I'm about 70% of the way through and enjoying it immensely.
