The Lying Game was the first book I ever read by Sara Shepard. I loved it! I was so obsessed that I kept a notebook with notes and I tried to solve Sutton's murder! I guess it would be considered chick flick a little bit. But there's also murder mystery. The end is pretty crazy! It sort of pushes the limits of chick flick. If you like Pretty Little Liars then this book is perfect for you. I'd also say it's similar to Gossip Girl, with a hint of dark. It's what you would expect from Sara Shepard, chick flick turned dark. (less)
