Gail Carson Levine I'm not sure. I'm just a writer, and theory is a little above my pay grade! But maybe we know that everything ends, and actions have consequences, and problems crop up continuously, so we're looking for completion, and completion that makes sense, which we don't always get in real life. Whew!
