Why did you decide to go back and write prequels? And why for The Two Princess of Bamarre and Ella Enchanted? I loved the prequel for Bamarre, but didn't enjoy Ogre Enchanted as much, to my disappointment, just due to personal preferences. Thank you so much for writing! I'm not sure. In the case of OGRE ENCHANTED, Lucinda's impulsiveness was pulled back in ELLA ENCHANTED, so I felt I had to go back. For LOST KINGDOM, I guess (hard to remember) I wanted to know the origins of TWO PRINCESSES. I'm glad you can't wait for my next book--a historical novel.
