Out of curiosity what is your favorite writing app or method to write? As a retired programmer, I'm sure there are methods or preferences to technology and I'd love to hear you opinions. After all, google docs has it's limitations when you get to large documents. What do you do to keep the flow going?

TBH, I've settled on WORD and EXCEL for writing. I've tried several other apps, like Scrivener, but they don't give me enough to justify the extra expense or learning curve. Once I got dropbox set up so I can work on my files from any computer, it removed the few remaining possible justifications.
That's a personal opinion, of course. I know a lot of people swear by Scrivener, and a lot of other people won't use software from the Evil Empire just on principle.

Sorry, I could be re posting this. There was some weird message that it didn't go through. But your main characters basically created a cheap energy source. Between the persistent gate and the glacial and greenhouse earths, they have created geothermal without drilling(except interdimensionally). They could save billions earthside. Also access to both of those would be a HVAC source outland?

I have enjoyed all 4 Bobiverse books now as well as your other books. I was wondering why they couldn’t just transport Bender instead of physically carrying him all the way out? Earlier in Heaven’s River you make a point of describing transporting as being distinct from cloning in that it involves no drift. I enjoyed the chase scenes, but kept wondering why they don’t just transport him out? Thank you.
