I lived in Wauna, WA for several years and the Crosswhite series brings back all my memories there. I now live in Texas, regrettably (don't ask). I am a retired fraud investigator and had walls of scribbles that connected the dots. My question is how you keep all the characters straight. Do you use a genealogy/spreadsheet chart to remember who connects to whom? Or just by memory? I LOVE ALL YOUR BOOKS!!!

It's kind of odd. I start writing and when I reach a certain point I then put together a spreadsheet of names and what is happening to help me keep track. Thanks for asking

I am currently reading The 7th Canon, and as a baptised (and lapsed) Catholic I am very interested in the strong religious undertones of the novel. Am I right to assume that the Catholic connection comes from Italian/Mediterranean roots? Would you ever consider writing a book based outside the US? As a European reader, that would make me happy :).
