Thank you for writing Hold Strong and sharing this portion of WW2 that has had so little coverage. Why was there so little news coverage of the Asian theater during WW2?
Robert Dugoni Joan, I don’t know. All I can think of is that the war in Europe was so surreal. So much evil that it was hard to believe. Also the world didn’t have the immediate media coverage it has today. It wasn’t until Vietnam that war was covered from the front line into living rooms. Thanks for asking.

I have been a fan of your Charles Jenkins and Keera Duggan series but needed a book for the plane for an international flight and so glad I chose The 7th Canon. I read it straight through on the flight and really enjoyed it. I thought Peter Donley and others were a great group of characters and would make a great continuing series. Any thoughts on possibly developing it into a series? Tracy Crosswhite next...

I get most of my audiobooks from the library, and love the few of yours that are available. Is there a reason that more or your audiobooks are not available from libraries?
Robert Dugoni They really should be. It often depends on the library, and who is doing the ordering. Have you asked your librarian? I've found that is usually the best way to get my books and the audio books into your library. Thanks so much for asking. I truly appreciate my readers, and listeners.

Will you please bring back Charles Jenkins? I adored that series and can't seem to stop thinking about it, even though I've read the Keera Duggan books, several standalones and am now onto the Tracy Crosswhite series. As good as they are, the Charles Jenkins series has gotten under my skin!
Robert Dugoni Boy, nothing would please me more. I loved reading this books, but the Sikent Sisters didn’t sell that well. I think people got tired of Russia after Putin’s invasion. Still, you never know.. thanks for asking.

Ok I finished the trapped girl!!!!!!!!! ROBERTTTTT ( can I call you Robert?) The ending had me shooketh! I was not expecting it all all! Any who, when will Dan get a book? I need a lawyer drama with MY MAN Dan. He looks like he could scrap, and it would be so to see his hot shot skills in the courtroom, plus we need a designer suit scene.

Robert Dugoni I wrote The World Played Chess, also literary and come January 18th Hold Strong comes out, which is a WWII romance.

Love Tracy Crosswhite! Just finished #10 and can't wait for #11 next year. BTW, you have become my all-time favorite author behind Agatha Christie. My husband and I both read and loved "The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell" and told family members about it. They also read and loved it. I have to choose a book for my book club this October and it will be Sam Hell! Keep up the great writing -- what a gift. No question?
Robert Dugoni Thank you for the kind email. I’m humbled. Sam He’ll has touched many and that means so much to me. Tracy 11 is on the way early 2025. A second Keera Duggan book is coming October 22. Then a sweeping WWII novel based on True events in December, Hold Strong.

Since you only mention only having two successful series, does that mean that you are done with Charles Jenkins? I actually liked that series the most.
Robert Dugoni It is complicated. It’s hard to have three successful series and try to get books out regularly. I’d love to come back to the Charles Jenkins series, but the silent sisters just didn’t sell that well. Part of that was due to what happened in Russia at about the time that the book was being polished. But you never know. Charles Jenkins may come back. Thanks for asking. Bob Dugoni.

I just found your wonderful Tracy Crosswhite series. One question? In the previous book, Tracy's daughter's name is Danielle. In A Cold Trail, it's now Daniella? Or maybe a typo in one of them? Thanks!

I just finished A Killing on The Hill and really enjoyed it. Do you plan to make this a series, or do you have a sequel planned?
Robert Dugoni I'd love to make it a series. The question is timing. I have two successful series at present, The Tracy Crosswhite series and the Keer Duggan series. So timing of another book can be tricky. Thanks for the question.

Your ability to capture the attention of your readers early on and hold their attention is both addictive and inspiring. Is this a deliberate strategy based on your personal experience with reading books that become painful to get though because the plot is monotonous and boring?
Robert Dugoni It is definitely something that I strive to do. It’s important for me to pull the reader into the storyline as quickly as possible. Always want to keep the reader involved. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for asking.

Robert Dugoni Can’t say for certain, but I’m glad I did. She is actually a secondary character in my novel Murder One and I thought…why not her own series?

Robert Dugoni Yes. I just turned in Tracy 11. Should be out in about 8 months.

Do you have another stand-alone in the works? LOVED Sam Hell and The World Played Chess. And all members of my book clubs did, too!
Robert Dugoni The Seventh Canon is an early Standalone, a thriller though. More coming that are like Sam and Chess. “A Killing on the Hill” and “Hold Strong.”
