Since you only mention only having two successful series, does that mean that you are done with Charles Jenkins? I actually liked that series the most.

Robert Dugoni It is complicated. It’s hard to have three successful series and try to get books out regularly. I’d love to come back to the Charles Jenkins series, but the silent sisters just didn’t sell that well. Part of that was due to what happened in Russia at about the time that the book was being polished. But you never know. Charles Jenkins may come back. Thanks for asking. Bob Dugoni.

I loved The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell. I just scrolled down to see that this will be made into a movie. I look forward to seeing it, but movies rarely do the book justice. Your character development left me missing Sam, Mickie, and Ernie after I turned the last page. I had developed a relationship with each one. Who would you choose to play these characters in a movie?

I came across the series by accident and I’m glad I did! My question, how did you come up with the main character of the series and what thought process did you use to make her a police office after her sister was murdered? Did you have something tragic happen?
