I came across the series by accident and I’m glad I did! My question, how did you come up with the main character of the series and what thought process did you use to make her a police office after her sister was murdered? Did you have something tragic happen?

Robert Dugoni I had Tracy from a minor part in the novel, Murder One and I went to work exploring who she was, why she was a chemistry teacher in a prior life and the story just developed from there. The other characters come on stage as needed.
