In one source, the Barrayar population is said to be 2-3 billion ie 250m/500m per Count but the behaviour of the Counts is closer to medieval with access via Count's Courts and the like. And at least one Count-capital is at the 250,000 level - or is that me overwhelming with fanfic (oops) Is this my reading or is their a hiccup? Thanks JK

I'm not sure where you got that population figure, but it wasn't from me. Too high. Some major cities are that large, though. (Which isn't that large -- my home urban area is something like 4 million, iirc.)
"Current" population of the planet is more than 50 million (that was its population back at the end of the Time of Isolation), less than 500 million. Komarr has maybe 1/10 the population of Barrayar. Sergyar, it's been noted, is up to about 2 million, making Vicereine Cordelia's administration roughly that of a mid-sized Midwestern city.

Dragon age inquisition by Bioware is the most recent game in a rich story universe known as Thedas. Playing through made me think heavily of the Vorkosigan saga. The uncanny valley has been bridged with the way the characters look - down to emotions. Would you consider teaming with the Bioware to produce a graphical series ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gskCzj4VE2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cqHGsIYg68

Just curious - do you have names in mind for Cordelia's future daughters, or Jole's future sons? Do you think you might ever write about them? Or about Ivan and Tej's children, if they choose to have any? These little teases of what might happen next always leave me so curious.

This is tiny, but: In your head, do you pronounce Tej as "Tedge" or "Tey"? South Asian languages vary a lot, so Tejaswini _could_ be either "Tedge-a-swee-nee" or "Tey-as-vee-nee." It's silly, but it kept tugging at the edge of my brain as I read _Alliance_. Ended up switching between the two randomly, whichever "sounded" appropriate at the time. I know your answer may not change this for me, but I wondered. Thank you!
