This question contains spoilers…
(view spoiler)[So, how did the golden general come by a drop of the father's blood? Would he presumably had to have performed some sort of human sacrifice for it? Did the Father have some hatred for the Bastard or something? Or were all of the gods fighting when the Father tried his hand at conquering? (hide spoiler)]

In order: we don't know, not known but not outside the range of possibility, no, and no.
The gods have no interest in human politics; they are only interested in souls. They don't "fight" each other, but it is not impossible they might compete for souls in subtler ways.

Hi Lois, this is Albert from Minneapolis, we have met at CONvergence many years ago. I would like to know if you have been approached either via agent or directly on adapting your Barrayar stories to screen. Miles and his family are very interesting characters and that universe has many intriguing facets so I was wondering if you have any thoughts on it on TV or big screen?

Ah finally, able to converse. I hope there isn't a letter cap...spoilers there is >:) I don't know this website very well is there a better way to message you directly? If not long story cut VERY SHORT...I finished reading Cordelia's Honor at 6amCST this morning before going to bed. I laughed, I cried, I contemplated my own mortality and called family, and I am very grateful the rest of your books are in the back.

2 Qs for 2 series - 1 - Can Sara have children now, post-curse? Her potential for a Paladin/GJRQ style post-denouement adult adventure, maybe involving children with her second, lower-ranked love interest has been occurring to me lately for some reason so thought I'd ask. The "Mother" book? :) 2 - What was the reason behind making Cordelia, scientific character as she is, a religious believer? Thank you!
