I'm glad you're enjoying it - a sequel is in the works. My plan is to have it out during the 2nd half of next year.

Hi Andreas - I am a scientist who has been continually disappointed with science fiction books due to glaringly obvious scientific errors and limited, earth-bound imagination. The reality of astrophysics should give the writer so much to play with but it is rarely done well. However, your book is the best one I have ever read - you really used science to its full potential. When will you be publishing a second book?

Mr. Kapf, I just wanted to comment on "Prelude to Extinction." I'm 74 years old and have been reading science fiction since I read a short story called "The "Barnhouse Effect" when I was in high school. I was looking for some new hard science fiction and saw your book on amazon. It was excellent! Great story line, good science, well fleshed-out characters, a "page turner." Am awaiting you next offering. (?)
