Hi Alex - all questions are welcome! I've read works by many authors, but some of those who inspired me the most are Carl Sagan (I loved his novel, "Contact," as well as his non-fiction work "Cosmos"), Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov and Michael Crichton.

Mr. Kapf, I just wanted to comment on "Prelude to Extinction." I'm 74 years old and have been reading science fiction since I read a short story called "The "Barnhouse Effect" when I was in high school. I was looking for some new hard science fiction and saw your book on amazon. It was excellent! Great story line, good science, well fleshed-out characters, a "page turner." Am awaiting you next offering. (?)
