Can someone please tell me, without giving away spoilers, if the book is more paranormal with paranormal twists or if it's a psychological thriller? I don't really enjoy paranormal thrillers with paranormal twists, so I'm a little apprehensive to pick up this book, but i loved his others books

It's like every other chapter is a novel like the Ammytville horror that happened in the past and then every other chapter is present day
