Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

L. Lane Bailey The first three and a half books pretty much wrote themselves. I sat down to write a book... thinking it would take a while, but the first one just fell out. Then the second was close behind. I actually wrote about half of #4 (not yet released) and started on what is now printed as the third in the series.

I honestly don't know where the story came from. I set out to write something completely different, but the characters wouldn't let me go where I wanted. That may seem odd to some people, but what I did was write the story it seemed the characters wanted told. I had to make a lot of changes to the beginning of the story because of what I found out later, while writing it.
