As a man you would probably benefit from learning about what it's like to be a woman in a man's profession, childbirth and miscarriages, and being a mom. (Also, if you're white, learning about being an Asian American is an added bonus.) Ali's humor is great regardless of your gender. Please confront your privilege and if there's something in her book you don't get, I'm sure there are plenty of women in your life who would be happy to talk with you. (less)
