Thanks for the answer, and so quick! Unfortunately, I'm still confused -- is the Peninsula to the east or the west of the map in Orphans? As I look at the island chain, it looks as if it should be to the west, but as I read the book and look at the maps on the site, I feel as if it is to the east. Again, thanks. I just like to be oriented!
Lois McMaster Bujold
The Ibran peninsula is ~800 - ~1000 miles east of the Carpagamon islands and the coast of Cedonia.
Remember, north is toward the equator, south is toward the nearest pole. Also recall there are two large peninsulas in play, the Ibran to the east and the Cedonian to the west.

Apologies if this is a duplicate, but I got some error before and don’t think it went through. Since ba have been in the middle of at least two almost wars, do Cetagandans have a ba problem? Since Haut children are raised in creches, do they treat ba more like children than they intend?

Hi Lois... I have Flowers of Vashnoi sitting in my Kindle, but I just can't bring myself to start it. Once I start it, I know I'll just keep reading until the end, and then it will be over. I like knowing there is a new Vorkosigan book waiting for me, but since I can't have my cake and eat it too, I just want to have it for a while. Is this too weird?

I absolutely adore your Penric and Desdemona novellas and novel. I read the e-books as soon as they are released and I have been collecting the print collections from Baen, even the Subterranean Press editions. Are there plans to release another print collection of the more recent novellas and The Assassins of Thasalon through Baen? (The affordability of the Subterranean Press editions is becoming a concern for me.)
