have just finished miracle creek..oh my word...what a book...my question to you...any more books in the pipeline?

Thank you so much! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it (at least I *think* you enjoyed it? I always joke that "What a book!" is a great thing to say to someone if you didn't really like their book but want them to think you did, haha). To answer your question, yes, I have started working on a new novel. It's a literary mystery about a little boy who is nonverbal (with autism) who goes on a walk with his father, and only the boy returns home. It's about his family's attempt to solve the mystery of what happened with the missing father. I just started, so it will be a few years before it's done and released. In the meantime, I have essays and stories (some related to Miracle Creek) on the "Other Writing" tab on my website (angiekimbooks.com). Thank you again for reading and for reaching out!

I just have to say I loved your book so much and cannot wait to read more things from you. I connected to every single character in Miracle Creek, and with the way the story was told, I felt like I was present there. How did you transition from being a lawyer to being a writer, and was it a difficult decision to make? All the best, Andrea. :) <3

Angie Kim:
I loved Miracle Creek for so many reasons, especially the highs and lows of motherhood and adults being made childlike as they struggle with a language in a new country. It also provided a window into the world of parenting special needs children, which I have not read much about. What drew you to write about that?

Angie Kim:
I heard you on NPR Weekend Edition Saturday with Scott Simon. I listen regularly, add books to my shelves, and connect with authors here on Goodreads that he recommends. I was drawn into your conversation with him about autism. I'm estranged now from my two teenage autistic boys, largely due to the toxicity between me and my ex-wife and their conditions. Do you think your book could advise me and shed light?
