Hi, I’m was so excited to read that you’re publishing a brand new series :) I’m a huge fan of Anita Blake and Merry Gentry and wondered what details you can share about your new series and when it is likely to be released?

Laurell K. Hamilton I couldn't have answered this question when you first asked it, but we just announced that, A Terrible Fall of Angels will be out August 17, 2021. Main character is Detective Zaniel Havelock. He's my first book length male protagonist and I can't wait for you to meet him.

Since Envy isn't someone special to Jean Claude that means he considers her just a casual thing right? Sort of like how before Anita he used to sleep with countless women, she's just like those women right?

I remember Merry ,Frost and Doyle talking about their future....,,concerns about enemies killing them, and they are showered in pink rose pedals. A sign that they would be blessed. So I am confused about Frost and Merry having their mortality confirmed at the end of “shiver of light “. Seems a mixed message. Will we get that question answered deffinativley in the next Merry book? Will that be anytime soon?
