No question. Just want to say "Thank you" for all the novels you've written for your readers . I came across "The Gate To Women's Country" many years ago and I've been a fan ever since. I eagerly await every release. I had a copy of all your books at one time but downsizing made me donate them to the library. But I've kept my original copy of "Women's Country". I reread it once a year. Again thank you. Biggest fan?

When you were flogging your first ms around, did anyone advise you to use a non-feminine pen name? (e.g., like C. J. Cherryh, or perhaps even James Tiptree.) Nowadays, of course, nobody would dare suggest it. Or maybe so; there's J. K. Rowling as a recent example.

So many series get bogged down in later books by having to involve every character ever named and bringing them up to date. I love the way you've avoided this in the Curse of Chalion series. And we've seen Miles from birth to Count, so even as a fan, I'm not sure I'd want more. But are you working on a new series, or is this a forbidden question?
