Lois McMaster Bujold:
I have just returned from my second trip to the Will F. Jenkins (Murray Leinster) Collection at Syracuse University. It felt very scholarly to restore, from the manuscript, a line omitted from a '50s novel, lost to some sort of typesetting accident and replaced by a confusing line from an earlier chapter. Do you have any favorite Leinster stories, especially any not among his very most famous?

I last read Leinster in, probably, grade school, so my memory of his work is compost by now. I have a dim association with some sort of space medical drama, if I'm not munging him with his contemporary Alan Nourse. Or James White, tho' the tales I read by him are more distinct, even at this remove.

Who was the Auditor in the frame story of Borders of Infinity? Who initiated the audit? I mean, the blurb says Miles unravels a plot on his back, but if ImpSec can't publicly account for enough money to bankroll a merc fleet, that really would raise some legit questions

I just finished all of your Vorkosigan books and I loved them! For the majority of them I listened to the audio version during my commute to and from work. There were to items that seem to have changed pronunciation as the series progressed. Dendarii changed from den-der-ee, to d den-der-ee-eye. Galeni changed from guh-len-eye to guh-len-ee. Can you tell me which are the most appropriate? Thanks! Andy

I am working on three books, #s 11, 12, & 13. This is usual for me; when energy/enthusiasm on one flags I've usually got one of the others to fall back on. Failing that I reread a favorite book, often one by this writer named Bujold, which always rejuvenates me. I'm finding elements of Lodi seeping into one of them. Does that sometimes happen to you (say of Heyer or Sayers) ?
