I just finished all of your Vorkosigan books and I loved them! For the majority of them I listened to the audio version during my commute to and from work. There were to items that seem to have changed pronunciation as the series progressed. Dendarii changed from den-der-ee, to d den-der-ee-eye. Galeni changed from guh-len-eye to guh-len-ee. Can you tell me which are the most appropriate? Thanks! Andy

The recordings were made in different orders, some before the narrator was able to catch up with me for pronunciations. So I'm not surprised it's a bit random. Dendarii is den-DARE-ee, Galeni is gah-LEE-ni.

Hi, I was just wondering if you've heard of or read Winter's Orbit by Everina Maxwell? I really enjoyed it, primarily because it felt a lot like Vorkosigan saga. Not in a derivative sense, but more in the sense of general feeling I got from it. I later learnt that Ms Maxwell is a fan of your work (and of Georgette Heyer's work, too), so I just felt like I had to put it on your radar. Cheers!
