I was reading a book by Beth Allen Slevcove entitled, "Broken Hallelujahs" and she spoke of thin places. I thought it was so perfect for describing the place I was in last year when I wrote that collection. Grief most assuredly brings us closer to poignant, meaningful facets of our existence.
