Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Tabitha Vohn My third novel (which comes out this November) is based on my love of certain Old Hollywood actors and the movies they've starred in. I've read a good many biographies and memoirs from actors and their lives struck me as tragic, as did their inherent sadness, self-deprecation, and inability to hold on to any meaningful relationships. I took from that, created my own "Old Hollywood" heartthrob, and imagined what it would have been like if someone would have loved (and inspired) him enough to choose a different path in life.
