Hello Peter I am searching for a book you wrote. "Before The Kings Daughters" and any other books you may have written on this subject. My many times over great grandmother; Jeanne Voidy Demers was a filles a marier. She arrived in New France in the year 1653 with recruits from LaFleche, France. I would love to be able to buy these books? Thank you Sandra Demers sandydemers@aol.com 949-215-0336

I have just purchased the e-book of King's Daughters and Founding Mothers (already loving it!) and have a fair use question. I would like to post your biographies of some of my Filles du Roi ancestors in their profiles on Ancestry.com. May I do so, as long as I indicate that these are direct quotes and give proper attribution? Madeleine Cousineau

Peter J. Gagne:
How can I get a copy of the index you authored for the 30 book set "Our French-Canadian Ancestors" in English? I have seen it in a library. I began collecting the books two years ago, and later bought the digital copy of 30 books, but there is so much information even in the other books, that I would love to be able to find these bits on my ancestors when they come up in other people's story. Thanks!

Hi Mr. Gagne: I am really enjoying your two volume set on the King's Daughters. I am a member of a Facebook group where we share information on our ancestors who were Daughters. Some folks don't own the set and I would like to help them by posting a bio of their ancestor on the group's page. Now, understandably, I would like to see if that would be ok with you and I completely understand if you prefer not? Doris
