I just finished Strange Candy. I would love to read more of your fantasy writing, especially material set in the Nightseer world. I also loved the short story "House of Wizards" and would like to read more based on that story line. Do you have any plans of releasing novels set in the Nightseer world soon?
Laurell K. Hamilton
Sorry, but not at this time. Nightseer was supposed to be the first of a four book series, but it didn't sell well enough for my then editor to want the second book, so the series stands at one novel. "House of Wizards" is set in the same world as are several of the stories in my short story collection, Strange Candy.

Love your books! My question at BookNation did not get picked, so I am glad I have this forum to ask. At the very beginning, before you were a full time author, did you work at at a non-writing job while you were writing, or did you just jumped straight in and became a full time writer right away? Also, do you have a daily writing goal (### words a day whether it is Anita or Merry)? Thank you so much!!

I remember Merry ,Frost and Doyle talking about their future....,,concerns about enemies killing them, and they are showered in pink rose pedals. A sign that they would be blessed. So I am confused about Frost and Merry having their mortality confirmed at the end of “shiver of light “. Seems a mixed message. Will we get that question answered deffinativley in the next Merry book? Will that be anytime soon?

spoiler alert - is it possible that King Sholto is not truly dead but could be brought back to life? I know Rhys regained the ability to bring some back from the dead. Just wondering as I miss him and thought how much I hate for him to be gone, almost as much as missing Frost when Frost left.
