Tenzin Kendrick asked Brent Weeks:

Do you ever read reviews on your own books? If I had anything published, that would be my only hobby.

A Goodreads user
A Goodreads user asked Brent Weeks:

Hey, Brent! I just finished reading the Broken Eye. I loved it, but I do have one complaint! Why call it the Broken Eye? I thought for sure the title meant we were going to learn more about how breaking the halo works and that one of the main characters would break the halo. Unfortunately, we didn't learn anything new about it. Would you be willing to talk more about it?

Tenzin Kendrick asked Brent Weeks:

This question contains spoilers… (view spoiler)[ I started your books around two months ago and finished them a few weeks later. Then read them again. And again. I keep realizing things about the book that slipped me by the first time (identities, events, etc). But down to the question itself. Was this intentional, to try to surprise the reader on their second time through? (hide spoiler)]
