I have been a fan of yours for more than ten years now. I love your writing. I recently joined goodreads. I am enjoying my stay here. I read a lot of the reviews from several of your books and I was horrified by what some people were saying. How does this kind of negativity impact your writing?
Laurell K. Hamilton
I seldom, if ever, read reviews, so it doesn't impact me. I've found that even good reviews can mess with my muse and me, so I've learned that simply not reading is the only sane way to go. My publisher will occasionally send me reviews to read and I will look at those, but beyond that I see almost none of them. Haters are going to hate, trolls are going to be trolls, there is nothing you can do about them, except not feed them.

I watched your Book talk Nation interview the other day. My question is have you thought of the title and author of the brilliant book you started with for research on the fae? What about the book on the folklore? One and the same? I can't wait to read the next Merry book! I tend not to resurface when I am reading one, so I'll have to do it on a weekend or my kids will miss me. =)

Considering the sidhe could once survive a decapitation, I'm wondering if you'll someday find a magical right-of-passage and fix whatever is wrong in Andias. I love Maeve's theory in the last book. I can't imagine Andias ever being a good and loving woman. She's a battle goddess, after all. But, she did love her brother. Maybe after some therapy, she may deserve a surprise pregnancy. Maybe a flu that's not a flu?

I have heard that if you could you wouldn't write about JC . Is this true? If so, why? To me Micah and Nathaniel are too accommodating to Anita most of the time. JC tells her the way reality is whether she wants to hear it or not and we all need someone like that. Also Asher is becoming a real pain in the rump.
